In mid-July, a lovely elderly lady who had been a free speech absolutist and a bastion of Reform UK, named Ann Widdecombe, was brutally bludgeoned to death in her isolated cottage in Haytor, Dartmoor.

The Devon and Cornwall Police at first insisted it had all been the messy and unfortunate result of an interrupted burglary until, in what's becoming a ludicrous habit, buffoonishly reversing themselves the next day.
It had been, as the counter-terrorism police who took over from the Cornwall coppers said, a targeted assassination of the 78-year-old former Tory minister.

A ne'er-do-well pudge bucket from the ne'er-do-well city of Rotherham was found to have driven nearly 600 miles round trip to attack Ann in her home, beating her savagely over the head with a hammer 21 times after subjecting the poor woman to a macabre conversation in her own kitchen.
Police had home security video of the entire ghastly incident.
Joshua Kerry had lived in what's known as a 'community home' since the death of his father. The rumors of what police had found in Kerry's room turned out to be true.

The danger of violent Left-wing radicals like Mr. Kerry of Rotherham is something the British downplay or don't bother to mention ever at all. The danger is always from the extreme-right, you see, even when it demonstrably is not.
Reform leader Farage has been saying that he is a target, as are his members, for ages now. But they have been brushed off by the government as hysterics, even as some have been physically assaulted or their homes attacked, as Farage's was in April of last year.
He and his partner's concerns over what she'd found when she arrived home one day were dismissed out of hand by a disinterested constabulary, who, seemingly, glanced over the security footage provided to them.
NOTHING OF VALUE
...On April 20 last year, his partner Laure Ferrari returned to their home in Greater London to find the front door damaged with a chisel or a crowbar and an empty can of lighter fuel in the porch, which had been squirted over the door.
Mr Farage believes the attacker was disturbed by a neighbour who has three large dogs, and who leaves for work at about the time the attack happened.
Metropolitan Police officers interviewed Mr Farage and Ms Ferrari and took away 74 hours of CCTV footage from several cameras positioned around the politician’s home.
Two months later, the Met contacted Mr Farage to say there was nothing of value on the CCTV and no further action would be taken.
However, the vicious Widdecombe murder must have triggered something, because, in August, police took a second look at the year-old footage and voila.
Someone's professionalism seems to have slipped up the first time.
Lo and behold, on the 29th of September, it was quietly announced that counter-terrorism police reviewing the tapes found both a vehicle and a person on them.
A suspect in a firebombing attack on Nigel Farage’s house was caught on CCTV but police failed to spot him, The Telegraph can reveal.
The police watchdog is investigating the blunder, saying Scotland Yard might have “missed an opportunity to protect the public”.
The Metropolitan Police wrongly told Mr Farage, the Reform UK leader, that CCTV cameras at his home did not capture the suspect behind the attack in April last year.
In August this year, following the killing of the Reform UK spokesman Ann Widdecombe, counter-terror police – who had assisted in the original investigation – reviewed the CCTV and found that a suspect and their car had in fact been captured in the footage “over an extended period”.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), doing the review, is flat-out acknowledging the possibility that the Metropolitan Police staff charged with finding who had attempted to burn down Farage's home made sure they found no one.
...The IOPC is considering whether the staff member may have been guilty of discreditable conduct, as it is alleged that they “may not have undertaken the CCTV tasking to the standard required leading to a missed opportunity to protect the public”.

British authorities have charged a man accused of murdering former lawmaker Ann Widdecombe with planning a terror attack against Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.
Counterterrorism police on Friday charged Joshua Kerry, 28, with one count of preparation of terrorist acts, for an activity that took place sometime between May 2024 and July 2026.
...Britain’s head of counter-terrorism policing Vicki Evans said the force had “been running a hugely intensive and complex investigation for some time,” adding: “The charge announced today is a result of the tireless work of investigators across the counter-terrorism policing network.”
Kerry is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
In August, the counter-terrorism force reopened a year-long investigation into an alleged firebomb attack against Farage’s home.
“I know the new charges made today will be extremely concerning. My profound sympathies are with Nigel Farage and his family,” said British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood. “Let no one make any mistake: an attack on anyone in politics is an attack on us all.”
It appears it was none other than Mr. Kerry from Rotherham.
It kind of makes me wonder, now, about that unaliving in the middle of the street in Rotherham. The explosive neighbor reduced to pieces last week that was a 'household accident.' Peculiar place.
And how nice the British Home Secretary is offering her 'profound sympathies' to Farage and his family for basically blowing off this botched attack on them.
