I thought I would end the week and lift a glass to Friday night on a very silly note.
The best part of it is that I don't have to do a thing - the Democrats have, well. I say 'thoughtfully' done all the work for me, but as you will see, whatever 'thought' went into this doesn't really qualify in our world.
But it sure will resonate in theirs.
DNC Chairman Ken Martin's overpaid braintrust of four-year-old, blue-haired tweeks must have high-fived all the way to the medical cannabis shop after this one; it's that bad.

Actually, to cut them a bit of a huss, the big 'blue wave' on Democratic Primary night in many states across the country that they are bragging about consists of flipping two school board seats (ergo the board itself) in Sarasota, FL, a seat in Orange County, an at-large Jacksonville city council seat, and flipping a Pennsylvania State House seat special election.
I might have 'whoopeed' the last one, as that is one legit decent flip - one - but hyperbole away, kids.
I guess that's as much as they have for the whole dang country to report, which doesn't really imply they've got a lot going on competitively.
And now they've got another, well, what used to be a core constituency mad at them for this.
...The numbers are already showing Black voter support slipping. These aren't good optics for a party that claims to champion Black voices.
