Attempted Terror Attack on DHS Offices in Idaho Wednesday Night

Oh, sure - let's keep calling the federal agents doing their job - and continually being cleared by the courts to do so - 'Nazis,' and 'brownshirts' and whatever epithets the progressives and mainstream Democrats can come up with to protect their illegal fan base.

It's just words, after all, right?

And it's not like it ever affects any of them...much.

Until Democrats egg their unstable supporters on and they snap, behaving stupidly.

Sometimes those miserable souls get themselves killed thanks to the poison they believe, like the Goods and Prettis of the prog world.

Most direct confrontations, though, it's federal law enforcement placed in impossible situations who are at risk, thanks to swarming masses of whistle-blowing, lunatic AWFLs and shrieking malevolent soy boys throwing ice, bottles of urine, bricks, or bags of poo.

Then there are the true subversives inspired by rhetorical madness who ambush the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its various agents, ICE or CBP, at their home offices, like the one that unfolded last July, in McAllen, Texas.

Mere days before that attack, on the evening of the 4th of July, there had been a first attack - on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas.

...The night of July 4, about a dozen people started shooting fireworks toward the facility holding people in ICE custody. Correctional officers called 911, and Alvarado Police Lt. Thomas Gross arrived minutes later.

That's when federal prosecutors say someone in a green mask fired at Gross and the correctional officers from the woods. Court records alternately say Gross was shot in the neck or back.

Within a few days, 10 people were in federal custody and charged with the attempted murder of federal agents, and one was on the run. Nine more were arrested in the months to come.

“It was a planned ambush with the intent to kill ICE corrections officers,” then-Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy Larson told reporters the next Monday. “Make no mistake, this was not a so-called peaceful protest.”

The prosecution of those suspects ended in a mistrial three days ago, over, of all things, a t-shirt worn by one of the defense attorneys.

A federal judge on Tuesday declared a mistrial in the case of nine alleged Antifia members charged in connection with the ambush shooting of a police officer at a Texas U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center over a T-shirt worn by one of the defense attorneys.

In December, a man was arrested for throwing Molotov cocktails at the ICE facility in downtown Los Angeles, as months of increasingly hysterical and violent rhetoric from Democrat leaders and activists purposefully ratcheted up the anti-law enforcement, anti-immigration-enforcement temperature.

...Monday’s brazen attack — which came just days after a radicalized gunman’s fatal ambush shooting of two National Guardsmen in Washington D.C. — was just the latest instance in a dangerous and growing trend of attacks on DHS law enforcement. For example, ICE officers are currently facing a 1,150% increase in assaults and an 8,000% increase in death threats.

Late Wednesday night, almost at midnight, near catastrophic calamity was barely avoided when yet another unknown lunatic attacked a DHS facility.

Only by the grace of God did nothing happen other than physical damage to the building from where the stolen ambulance, loaded with prestaged and filled gasoline cans, crashed into the front of it.

The only thing saving the situation from a firebomb exploding in the night was the rapid response of law enforcement scaring off the attacker before he could light the accelerant he had just finished spraying everywhere around the impact zone.

...Just after 11 p.m. Wednesday, an ambulance was stolen from a bay at St. Luke's West hospital.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, drove the ambulance through the parking lot and retrieved gas cans that were staged in nearby vegetation, according to Meridian Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea.

The suspect then drove the ambulance directly into the North Portico building, which houses DHS offices, Basterrechea said.

Investigators believe the suspect poured an accelerant inside and around the outside of the ambulance.

However, the suspect was unable to ignite the accelerant before being scared off by responding agencies, according to Basterrechea.

The chief directly addresses the rhetoric fueling these attacks in his press conference.

They are hunting for the suspect. and World News Tonight covered it.

It might have been Idaho, but the attack didn't happen in a backwoods, mountainman vacuum, either.

This Idaho independent journalist has some really interesting background on the cesspool of Antifa, anti-ICE, and, as she calls them, 'SSRI wine moms upset about ICE' (I about busted a gut at that one - SSRI is a crack at the selective serotonin uptake inhibitors antidepressants so many AWFLs pop like Space Rocks.).

She explains how, about a week ago, word broke that the local hospital, apparently a sprawling complex, was going to rent office space to DHS, Then, goodness gracious, didn't the local Antifa groups go about losing their tiny pinheads, to include, she says, the local Boise TV station, KTVB.

That lease negotiation was the catalyst for Wednesday night's brazen and potentially deadly assault.

This is an earlier KTVB report on it.

DHS leasing office space in Meridian sparks community concerns

The community is weighing after confirmation that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is leasing office space in a St. Luke’s building in Meridian.

A spokesperson with St. Luke’s confirmed DHS is leasing administrative office space at its Portico North building in Meridian, but stressed the location will not serve as an ICE processing facility.

...Michael Satz, a community advocate, said he is concerned about the potential impact on both the community and the hospital.

“We’re concerned this is going to harm St. Luke’s as much as it’s going to harm our community,” Satz said.

Satz said those concerns come just months after a large immigration raid in Wilder, where hundreds were detained during a joint operation involving ICE and the FBI at the La Catedral horse racing arena.

He said that the event is still fresh in people’s minds, "We’re hearing about concerns about how ICE has conducted itself in other cities like Wilder, and there’s concern that might happen here now,” Satz said. “It doesn’t matter if people are going to be processed there or not, it’s going to support those efforts.”

As independent journalist Kevin Dalton says, local anti-ICE, Antifa related groups went into overdrive.

Nothing happens in a vacuum.

'Attention, gentle NIMBY friends - who wants to help us block it?'

Or break it, no?

DHS, ICE, and CPB have to keep those heads on a swivel because there is no telling where the next blow comes from at any given time of the day or night.

What another sad indictment of Democrats and their pathetic party.
