This is only going to get worse until people start putting a stop to it when it happens, which no one on this New York City subway last night looked as if they dared to do.
Chabad Lubavitch is a dynasty in Hasidic Judaism and one of the ultra-Orthodox sects. The headquarters for the movement, which is one of the largest in the world, is actually in Brooklyn, New York.
There was a small number of Chabad Jews among the passengers in a subway car last night, all returning from a Hanukkah event on the 3 train. That is the one, I have read, which runs from Harlem to Brooklyn.
The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, posted a video of some of the many Hanukkah celebrations around a frosty New York City last night. Lots of folks out.

They all seem to have been pretty well attended, despite the Bondi Beach horror and the vicious drive-by shooting attack on a California family's home decorated for the holiday.
There would be no bending the knee to intimidation and fear.
There's some dispute whether this incident began on the platform or not, but video from a member of the community who was standing further down in the subway car captured what happened soon after a father and son entered the car and began verbally abusing the group of Jewish men.
An Orthodox Jewish man was attacked on the New York City subway last night, in an incident that was recorded and published on social media.
In the footage, two men approach a group of Orthodox men, reportedly members of the Chabad Lubavitch sect, and begin hurling insults at them.
One of the Jewish men then appears to step in between the two aggressors and the other Jewish men, at which point they turn on him and threaten to “teach [him] a lesson,” before grabbing him by the neck.

...According to a firsthand account, the attackers began hurling curses at the victims at the station, then boarded the train with them and escalated the violence onboard. The group choked the victims, beat them, and threatened to kill them as the train continued along the route.
“It happened about 1 hour ago on the 3 line,” the witness said. “We transferred from the 4 to the 3 at Franklin Station. They were already there, started cursing, got on the train with us, and followed us toward Kingston. We got off 1 stop before.”
The attack unfolded in front of a packed train, with Orthodox Jews singled out, physically assaulted and threatened with murder, while other passengers looked on.
WHILE OTHER PASSENGERS LOOKED ON
Not a soul lifted a finger, although there are reports of voices telling the two men to 'chill out' as they attack the one man, threatening to 'teach him a lesson,' among other horrors, and offensively abusing other riders around him.
...“The f**k you doing?” the attacker can be heard demanding of the Jewish man as he pushes him backwards. “I’ll kill you!”
“I’ll kill one of [you],” the attackers says again, before letting go of the man’s neck.
Several people can be heard shouting in the background for the men to “chill” and “calm down,” but nobody takes any other steps to stop them.
The subway train then pulls into the station and the Jewish men leave the carriage, while the two attackers continue to hurl insults at them as they go.
After the incident, the man who was physically assaulted tells the ultra-Orthodox news outlet VINNews that the attacker grabbed him by the neck after he took out his phone to record the altercation.
“The moment the younger of the two realized I was recording, he attacked me,” he said.

Chabadniks were riding the subway home from a Chanukah event.
Leaving Manhattan.
Heading to 770.
They were violently attacked for one reason.
They were visibly Jewish and refusing to hide.

The two goons obviously feel empowered to do exactly what they are doing. They don't hesitate in exercising their thuggish instincts, and besides running their vile mouths at perfect strangers, they are laying hands on one of them without a second thought.
Nary a single hesitation.
As it's NYC, not a soul comes to aid the victims. Look at how the younger man in the hood whips around on whoever it was telling him to stop - dear God.
The menace in those eyes.
These assailants need to be found and arrested before they take another subway ride.

Everyone was only trying to get home after a festive evening.
...One of the bochurim who was attacked recounted:
“We went out on mivtzoim in Manhattan, a few hours of light and joy of the Chanukah holiday. Then we boarded the No. 3 train from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Two African Americans boarded, apparently a father and son, and began hurling horrific antisemitic curses and insults at Jews.I immediately took out my phone and began recording them, both to deter them and so it could serve as evidence for the police. When the son realized I was filming, he physically attacked me, as can be seen in the video that my friend filmed.
One stop before Crown Heights, we fled the train in fear. No one helped us. No one stood up or blocked the attackers. The son who attacked me gestured a gun to his head, and when I realized how dangerous it was, I quickly put my phone in my pocket. But the camera was still recording.”
The group left the train as fast as they could and reportedly went straight to the closest police station to file a report for whatever good that will do, even with the video evidence.
