I think that if I were to say 'There are some pretty vile people in this world,' most of you would nod your heads and harumph sagely in agreement with me.
It's simply one of those facts of life, and we can all point to someone consistently unpleasant after one fashion or another in our personal orbits whom we will go out of our way to avoid, if possible.
Sometimes it's not that these types mean to be this way, either. They're born grumpy, irascible, needy, conceited, whatever the ill that makes them obnoxious to others is a trait of birth, not an affectation of status. They just are what they are.
Waspish and unpleasant.
The ones who earn the 'pretty vile' label are the ones who cultivate their off-putting persona, wrapping themselves in a smug, smarmy blanket of social status superiority. They exist in a realm filled with ego-stroking ether that the simple knuckle-dragging classes will never be able to comprehend or join. Rich or poor, educated or not, the ideological lines separating the clean from the unclean are so distinct and impermeable that ne'er the twain shall meet to dilute the purity of their rarified air.
The bubble people, as I call them, are so removed from any normal, everyday experience or contact that is remotely human that it's as if they are playacting their lives away. Every utterance, Xweet, Instagram video, or podcast appearance seems staged to present an approved product to the other pod people.
They look and sound alike, and react to situations in a way that no conscious human would ever consider. But they all do it, desperate for continued approval of fellow Bubbles and to garner themselves a higher berth in the Bubble Brahmin hierarchy.
That's not to say that our side doesn't have its share of 'assh**es and elbows.' Of course we do.
But when one of our own is so over the line decency-wise, they are near universally shunned, shamed, and condemned.
Not so with the bubble people. It's almost a rite of progressive passage to say something disgustingly demented or depraved and then lap up all the opprobrium to the cheers and ardent defense of your mutually soulless Bubble clan.
A small example is the delightful Cincinnati Council president pro tem, who doubled down on her comments about the folks, particularly the young woman sucker punched, having begged for it.
She'll slide.

But those are everyday sorts of bigotry we wouldn't tolerate.

But the worst of the soulless Bubble People has to be the American media and the progressive political operatives that swirl around its turbid toilet bowl. The Taylor Lorenz School of Twisted and Demented Muckraking, now complete with close-up videos for real-time emoting.
There are scores of these wanna be next-big-things, who have clawed their way up from working on campaigns to nabbing a staff job on some lesser-known congressman's staff. They are all convinced they're a gift, they are all hungry for more and convinced they deserve it, and they all know they're better than you.
They just have to stay in the mix.
How do they do it?
One of them is a Democratic political 'strategist' named Sawyer Hackett. You might not know his name, but you will surely remember what one of his tweets is responsible for - the infamous Border Patrol whipping migrants hoax. This quote in the ACLU of TX letter to the DHS Acting Commissioner and IG references a now-deleted tweet of Sawyer's.
...Another video shows a Border Patrol agent on horseback hitting the water near one man with his lariat before knocking the man back into the water with his horse.6...
He made sure he was good and dramatic, whipping up the progressive base against the CBP.

Obviously, facts are not Sawyer's strong suit. Nor is there any concern for the objects of his scurrilous lies, the Border Patrol.
But his bubble peeps applauded him, and we all know how this lie took flight.
This revolting, egotistical poseur struck again the day before yesterday, but people are just starting to notice.
It seems Hackett has an issue with Trump's D.C. police takeover, and this is how he chose to frame it.
Isn't he a peach? Is this foaming at the mouth Leftist geek not the very picture of everything wrong and void in their little death cult?
Now, I screencapped his tantrum because I figure the original is going away pretty quickly, just like his profile page changed after all hell broke loose over this Xweet.
It now says 'Donald Trump was best friends with Jeffrey Epstein.'
You know what it said not two hours ago?
Anyone wanna bet there was a phone call or text about immediately ixnaying that 'Obama alumni'? Maybe even Castro told him, 'scrub my name, dumb ass.' I'm sure those fellows were thrilled to have their names associated with this big, fat nuclear bomb of a morally degenerate and indefensible public statement.
