A watchdog group of medical professionals, Do No Harm (DNH), claims it has uncovered potential insurance and medical-coding fraud on the part of Planned Parenthood.
In a complaint filed this week, DNH documented coding discrepancies pertaining to cross-sex hormones and requested that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) immediately investigate.
The document alleges that Planned Parenthood may have intentionally misconstrued the nature of these procedures in their coding systems to ensure reimbursement. Planned Parenthood also allegedly encouraged affiliates to engage in this scheme to defraud insurers and bypass commonsense restrictions on dangerous sex-rejecting interventions.
Already, Vice President J.D. Vance has publicly committed to look into these reports.
