Democrat and Democratic Socialist State Rep. Francesca Hong is both leading in her party's gubernatorial primary race and leading all Wisconsinites in having wild hot takes blow up on social media in the final weeks ahead of the vote.
Among the recent controversies was her failed attempt to explain away an atrocious anti-Thanksgiving post to X, one of many polarizing hot takes that have taken social media by storm.
Leaving aside that her "so be it" is practically an endorsement of reform by pandemic, it's just a single, if wacky, example of her many appeals to racism, white supremacy, "colonialism" and any other buzzword that might feel at home when rallying with the likes of Hasan Piker and Rep. Ilhan Omar.
