Climate Change, as we know, is the root cause of all bad things. It has become so destructive that it is whispering in the ears of arsonists, telling them to start fires that burn down vast swathes of nature and not a few homes in places like Los Angeles and Spokane.
Arsonists lighting fires?
Climate change.
Government incompetence?
Climate change.
Reservoirs left empty?
Climate change.
El Niño? ¿La Niña?

Governor Jay Inslee, whose state is experiencing some of the worst wildfires in its history, explains that climate change is the real cause of the Spokane wildfires that have displaced nearly 70,000 people and so far burned down 700 buildings.
This is, of course, self-evidently true, because climate change is right up there with systemic racism, transphobia, and Donald Trump as the primary causes of all things bad in the world. Throw in the Jooos, and you have all-purpose explanations for everything you dislike.

His name is Aaron Farinacci. He's 37.
Back in 2010, in Mesa, Arizona, Farinacci got into an argument with his father, because his father asked him to do the dishes.
So he shot him de*d.
Then he pointed the gun at his own mother.
Then he shot himself and survived.
He was charged with first-degree M*RDER... but that got knocked down, and he pleaded guilty to mansl*ughter.
Now fast forward to this week in Spokane, Washington.
The Old Trails Fire tore through neighborhoods north of the city. It destroyed around 700 structures, most of them homes.
As many as 65,000 people were forced to evacuate. Investigators say it was intentionally set.
And they've arrested Aaron Farinacci.
Police say he had waterproof matches and a butane lighter on him and found him kneeling in the grass right where the fire started.
The sheriff says he's been contacted before for "arson-related behavior."
Here's the part that will make you sick.
On the DAY the fire started, a witness reported a nervous man in the trees.
Police actually stopped Farinacci a mile away, questioned him... and let him GO.
Now 700 families may be staring at the ashes of everything they built.
But here's who got him: ordinary citizens.
Neighbors who saw something wrong and refused to stay quiet.
The prosecutor said that this case was cracked by "vigilant citizens" who spoke up.
THANK GOD for people who pay attention.
He's charged with first-degree arson, held on a $1 million bond.
GOOD.
How does a man plead guilty to k*lling his own father... and end up free, with a lighter, next to 65,000 people's homes?
Somebody needs to answer for that.

The arsonist who lit that fire due to climate change seems like an otherwise pretty stable guy. Sure, he killed his father over a request to do the dishes, but then again, climate change probably caused him to do that too. It gets pretty hot in Mesa, Arizona, and you know that heat makes people a bit nuts, just like the full moon.
Climate change also led the police to stop this man on the day of the fire because he was acting suspiciously enough that neighbors reported him, but climate change forced them to let him go. (Admittedly, you can't arrest people for pre-crimes, so I am not certain they could have stopped him.)
Climate change did a lot of damage. We really have to do something about it before it causes even more damage, like causing an invasion of our borders as it did under Joe Biden.
Earlier Monday, some residents returned to find their homes leveled by wildfires that erupted across a parched landscape over the weekend, covering yards in charred debris. In some cases, only chimneys were left standing.
“There’s nothing to save,” Miriam Sim, 76, said Monday as she and her husband, Daniel Sim, surveyed the ruins of the home where they had lived since 2005.
“At our age, do we want to rebuild?” her husband asked.
The fires jumped roads and rivers and had burned about 12.5 square miles (about 32 square kilometers) by Monday. The sky filled with smoke and haze. Calmer winds and lower temperatures arrived to help firefighters, but it was expected to be hot and dry again by midweek.
In one Spokane neighborhood, blackened vehicles, a boat twisted by the heat and melted plastic recycling bins remained. Across the street, lawns were still green and houses were spared, as residents continued to run hoses or sprinklers to water their properties.
“Hundreds of people have completely lost their homes and farms, and many are prohibited from returning to their homes or neighborhoods as crews continue to extinguish smoldering embers,” the state’s entire congressional delegation wrote Monday in asking President Donald Trump to approve an expedited emergency declaration.
Inslee's on the right track, just as Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass were with the Palisades fire. If only people would quit using electricity and stop driving cars, arsonists would quit setting fires that burn down people's houses.
We could focus instead on implementing more DEI, putting more trans grooming propaganda in schools, chopping genitals off of children, and putting sexual predators in locker rooms and bathrooms.
Seriously, we conservatives have our priorities all wrong. We should try to be more like California and Washington, where everything is so much better.
