For years, many of us marveled at the ridiculousness of "Queers for Palestine." It seems as absurd as "Chickens for KFC," as the joke goes. Everybody knows that if these "Queers" went to Gaza, they would be subjected to horrible murders, likely after being subjected to horrible torture and abuse.
But at least the danger there is completely abstract, right? It's at least a bit easier to empathize with people who present no danger to you personally. It may be irrational, but it isn't exactly suicidal.

In the case of Gaza, all you have to do is dehumanize Hamas' victims both in Gaza and Israel, and that has been accomplished by a multi-year campaign to turn Jews into an all-purpose villain, almost as bad as Herr Donald Trump himself, the all-purpose demon from whom all ills derive.

But of course Islamists are dangerous wherever they are, and they hate "Queers" almost as much as they hate Jews. In fact, they hate just about everything that any Westerners, perverted or not, hold dear, and are quite willing to at on that hatred at every convenient opportunity.

But, apparently, none of that matters due to the 'Palestinians' placement on the intersectional ladder. Every time some horrific act reminds us that Islamists are dangerous predators who, unlike Cobras and Rattlesnakes, attack without reason or warning, the entire left swings into action to defend them and celebrate their victimhood.
Just one day after an Islamic terrorist rammed a car into a crowd at Berlin Pride, more Palestinian and other Islamic flags could be seen at Amsterdam Gay Pride than their own rainbow flags.

In Berlin, the organizers of the Pride event that had just been attacked, and at which one attendee was killed and nearly 30 others injured, swung into action to defend Islamists and to tamp down any natural anger people would have.
In Amsterdam, which, unlike Bradford in the UK, went ahead with its Pride parade, the number of 'Palestinian' flags far outnumbered even the Pride flags.

There appears to be no amount of evidence from afar or even direct experience that will shake these people's faith that Queers and Islamists occupy the same intersectional ladder of oppression and that they should be allies. They are so deeply indoctrinated in the Critical Theory mindset that they would rather die than question their beliefs.
I am afraid that this is why there will never be a reckoning between the victims of gender ideology and their tormenters in the Alphabet ideology crowd and the medical establishment that has been torturing children. Once you go deep enough into rabbit hole, not only is it difficult to get out, but so psychologically dangerous that people won't even try.
How can one face the fact that one has chosen to side with evil?
