Democrats are benefiting from the sour mood of the country and Trump's hopefully temporary disastrous poll numbers, but the chances that they could ride a Blue wave this fall are diminishing, and their long-term prospects still look horrendous.
There's a simple reason for that: the median Democrat is very left-wing already, but the most active "Democrats" are full-blown communists who openly hate America, want to destroy it, and who love criminals and illegal aliens with the passion that Scott Weiner feels when he sees a young boy in assless chaps.
Everybody is rightly focused on Mamdani's success in the New York Primaries, but if the Mamdani wave were simply a reflection of his political skills being the right fit for the "commie corridor," the problem would be annoying, but not actively dangerous to the Democratic Party brand across the country.

But it's not true that this is a New York City Problem, and even a New York City problem is bigger than it would first appear. After all, New York City is the power base for the (nominally) two most powerful Democrats in the country, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, and they got their rear ends handed to them. The establishment is defenseless.

The losses in New York are simply an exclamation point at the end of the obituary that has been written for Organized Crime, i.e., "Moderate," Democrats. They have been losing in races across the country, both because their source of corrupt funding is drying up due to Trump's defunding of USAID and prosecution of welfare fraud, and more importantly, the rapid rise (after a long infiltration) of the DSA Democrats.

One of the most powerful explanations for the rapid rise of the DSA is the coalition it has built with Islamists. Some of them have fake smiles, like Mamdani, but most of them are open antisemites, express outright hatred for America, promote actual terrorism to enact change, and are not shy about wanting to take down the Western world in general and Islamize it.

Yesterday, Piker said Stalinists, Maoists, Trotskyists, and people who normally reject “bourgeois elections” were excited to vote in the New York primary. He then stated that the “commie corridor” is “the inflection point of the American communist movement.”
From here, Piker goes into DSA strategy.
“Primaries are how we change the trajectory of the Democratic Party and hopefully change the trajectory of America.”
Put socialists on the inside, while keeping pressure on the outside through “direct action,” “labor militancy,” and “work stoppages.” That is DSA’s inside-outside strategy in a nutshell.
After the wins started to roll in, Piker celebrated by declaring, “It’s the decade of socialism. It’s coming to a neighborhood near you.”
Then came the Mao allusion.
“When I said we were gonna let 1,000 Zohrans bloom, this is what I meant.”
Hasan Piker brags that every candidate he endorsed yesterday won their primary. Michigan Democrats, who have been electing open Islamists in local elections, are about to make a viciously antisemitic Muslim their candidate for US Senate.
Most of the successful candidates being put forth are women or men, usually in the model of Ilhan Omar, of color, but if you look at the Demographics of the DSA crowd, they comprise mainly younger, white, downwardly mobile children of the elites. The financial backing comes from radical billionaires and the Chinese Communist Party, but the ground troops are disaffected college and graduate-school-educated whites who feel as if America failed to fulfill the promises they were given.

The alliance with the Islamist is partly driven by a shared hatred for America, but it ties in well with the millennia-old temptation to blame the "outsider" Jews. They are eager to find a villain to blame, and Jews fit the bill.

The "poor, downtrodden" minorities whom the DSA claims to represent want nothing to do with them. In Black-dominated areas, DSA candidates don't thrive. It is the upscale, but usually economically stalled, whites who speak the language of intersectionality and "decolonization." Black voters don't tremble with fear and hatred over ICE deportations, and few actually want the police defunded. That's for the gang-bangers.

Establishment Dems are rightly beside themselves, both because this rising tide of communism is a threat to their crime racket and because they created a monster they cannot control. They got control over the schools and universities that bred young communists, and the young communists have set their sights on their creators.
The revolution always eats its own. Yet the people who created them never learn.
Another major factor is the importation of the Third World, which is of course a main goal of the DSA. Without immigrants, their faction would be far less relevant.

The Democrats worked assiduously to import new voters, and they turned out to be a driving force for communism in the US. The DSA is about 80% white, but they are exceptionally good at using the loosened election rules to harvest votes from immigrants.
The DSA has, to the surprise of many, executed a brilliant strategy to take over the Democratic Party from the inside, using the crooked rules the Democrats themselves created to solidify their power/
That's how you get DSA candidates almost running the board in primaries, even in places you wouldn't expect, like Wisconsin or Maine.

The DSA also appeals to "knowledge workers," who have more money than sense. They aren't the foot soldiers, but they love the virtue signaling they can do in a cost-free way. They are casual socialists who thrive under capitalism but feel bad about it, so they vote for the lefties to assuage their consciences.

This is a coalition well-suited to winning in Deep Blue districts, but one that will repulse enough Americans to erode Democrats' chances of winning most statewide and national elections.
Free, free Palestine and kill the jews is not a compelling message for the ordinary voter, and Hasan Piker spouting about Maoism is not a winning surrogate.
