Warning: don't ride transit in liberal cities if you don't want to be killed.
I'm not saying that if you ride a bus or a train in liberal cities you WILL be killed; as is the case in dangerous neighborhoods, which you should also avoid, your chances of having trouble skyrocket, and it just isn't worth it.
Everybody knows about the massive problems that Charlotte, North Carolina has had with violence. Iryna Zarutska helped focus attention, and two other high-profile incidents have happened on its light rail since her senseless death.
Of course, it's not just Charlotte. We shudder in horror at the incidents of people being shoved onto train tracks in New York City, but many people don't grasp that violent outbursts by crazed people are becoming all-too-normal in cities run by Democrat mayors.

🚨#BREAKING: Police have identified the man who st*bbed a woman to de*th on a public train in Atlanta.
His name is John Elijah Matthews, a Black male.
66-year-old Margaret Swan was sitting alone in the train car when Matthews walked up to her and st*bbed her in the throat in broad daylight.
Swan began screaming and trying to get up from her seat, but Matthews held her down and then st*bbed her 18 more times.
Matthews was then seen on the CCTV cameras throwing the 66-year-old woman to the floor and standing over her as she di*d until the train arrived at the Oakland City Station.
Police are not releasing the CCTV footage from the train.
I would guess that no other passengers on the train wanted to get the Daniel Penny treatment, so they just let it happen. But since we won't get to see the video, who knows?
No doubt the police think that allowing people to see what happened would incite people.
Me? I think the events themselves are the inciting factor, and hiding them only builds pressure until it eventually blows, as in Belfast.
You may have noticed that as the suspect was handcuffed and the lone police officer waited for backup, a young man went to curse and berate him, no doubt certain that this murderer didn't do nuffin'. Newsflash: he did.
This was just the latest in a series of high-profile murders on Atlanta's transit system in the past three months. A 16-year-old boy was shot in April at a bus stop, and on June 5th a 17-year-old was shot at a train station.
In response to this wave of violence, the leadership of MARTA, the Atlanta transit authority, has a message for its riders:

That's right. You can rest assured that the safety of riders is their top priority.
Hmm. I suppose, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that MIGHT be true.
If so, they really suck at their jobs, and you should still stay away from their trains and buses.
Another explanation, though, is that safety is not their first priority, but that DEI is, and that the people who are overwhelmingly most likely to commit these crimes fit a demographic profile that is protected from scrutiny until things go really bad.
Hmm. I suppose we could embrace the power of "and"; they are both incompetent, AND they don't like to look too hard at certain demographics because that would be racist.

Now I don't think there is anything genetic about young black men's propensity to commit crimes, and especially violent crimes. There is certainly enough evidence to conclude that a tendency to violence is built into all human beings as a potential trait, and that spontaneous violence is more likely in young men.

The Vikings had a culture that revered it; the best way to die was on the battlefield, and raping and pillaging were a way of life. It was culture that unleashed an inherent capacity built within all of us.
Well, we have to face the fact that certain cultures cultivate violence, excuse it even when the outburst is spontaneous and evil, and even point to groups outside the in-group as legitimate targets.
It's why you have Islamists blowing themselves up to kill Westerners, and especially Jews.

The same phenomenon can be seen in urban black culture. When Iryna Zarutska was murdered, her killer celebrated killing that "white girl." That wasn't a simple description of the fact that she happened to be white; it was a sign that he killed her because she was white.
In the Karmelo Anthony trial, the potential black jurors were excluded not because they were black, but because they admitted that they didn't want to send a black boy to jail out of racial solidarity. The protesters outside were clearer:

Murderous tendencies and irrational prejudices are human traits, and not exclusive to black people or Muslims. Germans certainly exhibited them in the last century, as did the Japanese. The Chinese have had their versions of it, and Europeans in general love to hate the Jews. Russians? It is almost a national sport at times.
Think of the trait as influenced by epigenetics; it gets turned on or off by the environment. And the cultural environment is toxic these days in urban America.
