When the State Department kicked out the Somali referee who was coming here for the World Cup, liberals erupted.
It was an affront to all they love. Somalis. Sports that everybody thinks are gay. And terrorist sympathizers.
It was too much to bear for many, including the Canadian government, which loves to poke Donald Trump in the eye.

Of course, the State Department and Homeland Security didn't boot the guy because he was Somali or loved gay sports; they did so because of his ties to terrorists.

BREAKING: The Somali FIFA World Cup referee who was denied entry into the U.S. by CBP was flagged with “derogatory” information, including “association with suspected members of terror organizations”, making him inadmissible for entry into the U.S., a Trump admin official tells @FoxNews
Statement to FOX:
"This individual was seeking admission to the United States. Upon further inspection by CBP, derogatory information, including association with suspected members of terror organizations, was discovered making the traveler ineligible for admission to the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). The traveler was refused admission and given immigration forms that provide the section of law used to complete an expedited removal under 8235 of the INA. President Trump's administration will not allow any security threat to enter our country - full stop.”
Admittedly, having ties to Somali terrorist groups is hardly shocking. It is almost mandatory among Somalis. Minnesota was a prime recruiting ground for ISIS, and some of the fraud money from here was sent to Somalia and wound up in the hands of al-Shabaab. Minnesota's governor, Tim Walz, certainly knew that.
A United States official said that Omar Artan, the Somalian soccer referee who was denied entry into the country ahead of the World Cup, was refused admission due to "association with suspected members of terror organisations."

The State Department and Homeland Security did not divulge the exact ties to terror groups in this case, but apparently he was on a watch list prior to his arrival here. He came on a diplomatic passport, despite not being eligible for one, which is suspicious enough.
Was it likely he intended to commit a terrorist act while here? Who knows? I personally doubt it, but so what? Since we can take a 1% risk and turn it into 0%, and there is no compelling reason to let him in, the smart thing is to boot him.
Want to avoid that possibility? I suggest not consorting with terrorists. It reduces the risk of being excluded from the US by quite a bit.
Canada isn't admitting this guy because there is a dire shortage of soccer referees. They're doing it to spit in our eyes.
The funny thing is, nobody here cares, except for people who hate Donald Trump and think that this is a major flex.
Is it? I think The Donald's ego can handle it. No doubt, if he is asked about it, he will take a shot at Canada's stupidity and forget about the whole thing in an instant.
