UK Police Still Racing in the Wrong Direction

I can't wrap my head around the insanity in the United Kingdom.

Despite the overwhelming backlash against two-tier policing, which has been supercharged by the Henry Nowak killing but has long preceded it, UK police keep racing in the wrong direction.

Britons are justifiably angry at the fact that native Brits have become second-class citizens in their own country. That's not some wild conspiracy theory; it's literally baked into the training that police officers get, telling them that historical patterns of injustice require them to treat people of color differently than white Britons, who must be punished for questioning multiculturalism and open borders.

Britain's streets are becoming objectively less safe, yet the police keep hiring diversity, equity, and cultural sensitivity officers and spending their resources on training policies officers who are then sent out in large packs to arrest Britons for their opinions

Police forces are hiring diversity officers on high salaries while crime rates in their areas rise.

Jobs being advertised by police forces with rising crime rates include a £75,000 equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights role and a £64,000 culture and inclusion lead.

Politicians said it was “unacceptable” for police forces to use taxpayers’ money to hire diversity officers instead of investing in making the streets safer.

Forces are under pressure to scrap race action plans and rethink diversity training following the murder of Henry Nowak, who was handcuffed by police while his Sikh killer, who had made false claims of racial abuse, was treated as a victim.

Serving officers suggested police staff were now so terrified of career-ending accusations of racism that they would rather bungle a murder investigation than fall foul of diversity guidelines. But there is no sign of the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) jobs boom slowing down.

The kid-glove treatment is so off the rails that even when members of Sikh community reported Vickrum Digwa to police as a dangerous man and a thief, the police refused to charge him or keep watch over an identified dangerous man.

This shows the idiocy of government Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

It's supposed to reduce racism, but Sikhs raised concerns about Vickrum Digwa - and authorities ignored them.

No doubt because they wanted to hit DEI targets and keep an ethnic minority statistic off their books, just as when they allowed Valdo Calocane to roam free to kill to "reduce the overrepresentation of black men detained".

The end result of DEI was the horrific murder of a white teenager and more racism against Sikhs, despite them trying to get the police to stop the murderer.

Police and other public services would be vastly improved, racism reduced and community cohesion improved by dragging everyone involved with DEI into a courtyard and slowly feeding them into a mincer.

As the Henry Nowak case demonstrates, it is far more dangerous to your policing career to be accused of racism than to watch a white boy die while treating his murderer as if he were a victim. The officers who likely sealed Nowak's fate by dragging him as he bled and roughly handcuffing him were not only kept on the force, but the police had to be restrained by the prosecution from slandering Nowak with accusations of racism after they had overwhelming evidence that the accusation was false.

Two days after Henry died Hampshire Police secretly recorded Digwa in a police van speaking Punjabi to his brother. Digwa admitted stabbing Henry. Discussed claiming self defence. Made zero mention of racial abuse. Not one word.

Hampshire Police had that tape.

They knew Digwa was lying about the racist attack. They had the evidence. They had his own words and then tried to smear Henry as the aggressor anyway.

Three days after his death their statement read “it was reported two men had been assaulted by an unknown man.” Henry was the unknown man. The boy bleeding out on the street. They flipped it.

Family complained. Statement changed. Then police told the family their NEXT update would again infer Henry was the initial aggressor. His family had to fight them a second time. While grieving their murdered son.

Then during the trial Hampshire tried to issue a statement telling the public to stop talking about it online. Calling it disinformation. The CPS had to step in. Told them they were about to collapse their own murder case.

This is the force that handcuffed a dying boy. Missed the murder weapon twice. Had a secret tape proving the killer lied. And still tried to bury Henry's name.

That's not incompetence. That's a machine protecting itself. At the expense of a dead boy's reputation and three officers are still on active duty. Not suspended. Treated as witnesses. To their own actions.

Hampshire Police didn't just fail Henry on that street. They kept failing him for six months after he died.

Digwa was a known wold, as were the Pakistanis who ran the rape gangs, and as was the al Qaeda terrorist who slaughtered young girls dancing to Taylor Swift. None of that mattered to the police, though, because the alternative to keeping them on the streets was arresting them and risking accusations of racism.

The Nowak case isn't a one-off, or a wake-up call. It is merely the logical conclusion of a set of policies that go back years, and in some cases decades. And which continues to this day, despite years of Britons demanding it stop.

The most recent figures show a 3 per cent rise in overall recorded crime in Scotland, with sexual crimes and violent crimes both on the increase.

Meanwhile, Devon and Cornwall Police, where crime went up by 11.7 per cent in the year to September 2025, is advertising for a £64,650 culture and inclusion lead.

Police forces in the UK now employ hundreds of DEI officers, with the total bill for them now thought to top £10m per year.

And it's not just that the police treat people of color with kid gloves; they expend enormous resources going after Britons who complain about it. They will send several, or even dozens, of officers to arrest people for saying that foreigners are foreigners, or that rape gangs are dominated by Pakistanis. Merely noticing an inconvenient fact is enough to get you thrown in jail.

The evidence for a two-tier system is incontrovertible, not just from observing police practices. You can actually read the training documents that lay it out as actual policy. Labour politicians, even after the Henry Nowak case has blown up into an international incident dividing the United States and Britain, still justify the two-tier practices while denying that they are two-tier.

So we are well past the point where anybody could argue against the proposition that a two-tier justice system exists in the United Kingdom, and just as far past the point where ordinary Britons are willing to tolerate it passively.

Yet the British elite are continuing to push the boundaries of that tolerance, and do so in the name of, bizarrely, maintaining public order and tolerance. When the police are so steeped in woke ideology that they won't even listen to brown people warning about the dangers people in their own community pose because it would be culturally inappropriate, hiring new DEI officers is objectively bizarre.

At Southampton Crown Court, three teenage boys were convicted of r∗ping two girls, aged 14 and 15. They 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 on their phones. One was shared on social media like a trophy.

The judge gave them no prison. “𝘕𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺”, he told them, handing down youth rehabilitation orders and curfews instead. He cited their age, ADHD, peer pressure, and low IQ, and said he wanted to “𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘺”.

One of the victims, just 15, wrote in her statement: “𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘥∗𝘦. 𝘐 𝘯𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴”.

For perspective: Lucy Connolly is serving 𝟑𝟏 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 for a single inflammatory tweet she deleted. These boys r∗ped children on camera and went home for dinner.

Even the Prime Minister called it appalling, and the Attorney General is now reviewing the sentence as unduly lenient.

Woke has often been described as a mind virus, and that is apt. But it might be just as apt to call it a form of addiction, where a person destroys themselves because they can't shake a habit that is obviously killing them. Others try to intervene, either out of anger or out of love, but the addict insists that they are doing just fine and have everything under control.

Seen in this light, the headlong rush to expand the DEI infrastructure in all aspects of British life despite the obvious signs of social decay is easily identified as the same sort of self-delusion that leads people from successful careers to becoming homeless fentanyl addicts who crap in the streets.

You can either hand them the implements of self-destruction, or you can force them into rehab. The former is the kinder option, while the latter is cruelty dressed up as compassion.

JD Vance is doing his best to intervene, and, as with all such interventions, the subject is angry and lashing out. That doesn't mean Vance is being too harsh or cruel. It means he is not an enabler.
