Canada has a problem. 

Actually, Canada has many problems, only some of which can be fixed by booting the Liberal Party from power. But doing so would be a good start.

This particular problem is that Canadian youths are leaving the country in search of better opportunities, mostly in the United States. In exchange, they only get screaming liberals who believe that Canada is a socialist paradise, and who start begging for help once they realize that Canada treats American expats worse than America treats illegal aliens, if they can't pay their way. 

In one video, this leftist 'scholar of the far right' who 'fled' the United States (for completely imaginary reasons) has admitted:

- The cost of living crisis is worse in Canada

- The housing crisis is worse in Canada

- Non-citizens should not be entitled to free healthcare

- She cannot get health care without paying for it

- She and her partner cannot survive unless people give them a place to live for free

Just pure cinema.

Let's also note that Canada is where progressives have run everything for decades now. They're the model government American leftists point to as an example of how to do things right. Yet it's even less affordable and more difficult to survive than the United States.

Canadian Liberals, as is the case with all liberals, believe that the solution to all problems is more government oppression. If the government breaks something, the solution must be even bigger government and more coercion. 

The Liberal Party just had its big convention and hosted, among other speakers, this tech wizard who himself left Canada for greener pastures. Discussing the brain drain, he suggested this brilliant solution: an exit tax.

Exit taxes are the new hot thing in lefty places that are bleeding productive people. Big government, high taxes, restrictive regulations, and poor services are driving productive people out of socialist paradises, and the left just can't have that. 

Just as they can't reform the government policies that are driving people away, so the only thing they can imagine doing is punishing people for leaving. Don't they know that it is their duty to be wage slaves for the state?

Patrick Pichette — the guy who proposed this $500k “exit fee” — left Canada years ago, became Google’s CFO, made over $100 million, was on Twitter’s board until Elon fired him when he took it over, and now lives in luxury in London, England.

He used Canada’s subsidized education and mobility to climb the ladder… then wants to pull it up behind him and trap young Canadians here.

Mark Carney did the exact same thing (11 years in the UK).

This isn’t about “repaying education costs.”

It’s elite hypocrisy and Soviet-style control.

Canada is becoming a roach motel for talent.

Repost if you’re done watching them lock the door.

Canada is, or should be, one of the best places in the world to live, and remains so if your goal is to live off the state relatively comfortably. Compared to the third world, it's great. Compared to the United States, if you are an ambitious person who doesn't want to live off welfare until the state kills you, not so much. 

This is backwards thinking.

If 30,000 young Canadians are leaving every year, the problem isn’t loyalty. It’s competitiveness.

You don’t fix brain drain by trapping people with $500,000 penalties. You fix it by making them want to stay.

Better jobs. Lower taxes. Affordable housing. Real opportunity.

Punishing people for leaving just proves the system isn’t working.

Talent goes where it’s treated best. Not where it’s forced to stay.

One of the biggest goals that the left has is hobbling America and turning it into another soft-socialist paradise like Europe or Canada. They almost succeeded with Biden's presidency, but Americans rebelled, and only Blue states, which are also now bleeding population, are still on that path.

“I need people who are high net worth to support the generous social programs we have in our state. Some patriotic millionaires who stepped up. Ok! Cut the me the checks. But if you want to supportive, maybe the first step should be go down to palm beach and see who you can bring back home

It never occurs to any of these idiots that they are the problem. Canadians are fleeing to America, New Yorkers and Californians are fleeing to Texas and Florida, and the lesson the left takes from that is to build a financial Berlin Wall.
