If you are sane, you wake up. Everybody makes mistakes, which is why the most successful entrepreneurs in recent years move fast, break things, fail early and often, and then succeed. Failing is one of the best ways to learn.
And then, there are lefties. Lefties know how the world is supposed to be—so much so that when reality begs to differ, they try to give reality a bitch slap.
The recent spate of horrific crimes by illegal aliens and lifetime felons is an inconvenient truth, to borrow a phrase, so lefties are doing their best to wipe away any memory of them, just as they have wiped away the reality of pandemic fascism, the lawfare and hoaxes about Trump, and Joe Biden's performance as a Zombie president.

The crime was horrific and was caught on camera for the world to see. Iryna's throat was slit by a career criminal, whose main beef with her was that she was young, white, and pretty.

What began as a memorial for a slain Ukrainian refugee has transformed into a political lightning rod in the "Creative Capital," with Mayor Brett Smiley now calling for the artwork's removal.
The mural, located on the exterior of The Dark Lady, a prominent LGBTQ+ club downtown, remains incomplete as city officials and community members clash over its message and funding.
The Mayor’s Office confirmed Sunday that Smiley wants the mural of Iryna Zarutska taken down.
He later released the following statement: "The murder of the individual depicted in this mural was a devastating tragedy, but the misguided, isolating intent of those funding murals like the one across the county is I continue to encourage our community to support local artists whose work brings us closer together rather than divide u. :"
The mayor pretty much admits that he wants the mural painted over because he doesn't like the message that some people will get from it, because that is how lefties roll.
We see this happen time and again. Liberals will amplify anything they can use to promote their Narrative™, whether true or false, while doing their best to wipe out of history anything that doesn't.
Victims of illegal aliens or career criminals don't fit the narrative, so they must be wiped from history.
