Being So Evil Is a Democratic Party Superpower

I've made this point before, but it bears repeating many, many times: one of the great superpowers of the Democratic Party is that they are so radical that when you criticize their positions, people in the center simply dismiss your criticisms because they seem so implausible.

Time and again, I have witnessed this in debates—whether those I have personally engaged in or those on the floors of legislatures. A Republican criticizes a Democrat's practice, law, or proposal, and the Democrats simply dismiss it as not true, despite it being right there before everybody's eyes.

The first time I was gobsmacked by this was in a debate over education curricula and standards proposed by Democrats. They included radical alphabet ideology, disparagement of the United States, Critical Theory, and the lowering of basic educational standards. A Republican got up and READ FROM THE BILL, and nobody outside the legislature believed that the law actually said those things because they were...unbelievable.

Who would DO that?

Democrats. Who just stood up, ridiculed him, and passed the bill.

That tactic worked then, and it has worked beautifully in pushing radical alphabet ideology and practices in schools. I've shown liberals books that are taught or given to students in schools that tell students how to sign up for Grindr and prostitute themselves, and my liberal friends simply don't believe the provable truth because it is so very awful.

It cannot be true, because no sane person would give that to children. Or have them perform in drag in gay bars for money. Or sit on the lap of drag queens with their genitals on display. Liberals just deny it happens.

As the controversy over sterilizing and mutilating children heats up, Democrats are simultaneously fighting measures to restrict the practice of "treating" minors AND denying that it ever happens. Don't ban it! And it NEVER HAPPENS.

I have looked on in wonder as liberals insist that sterilizing and mutilating children is not a thing, despite years of propaganda pushing it, the creation of "sanctuary states" that encourage it, and even TV programs SHOWING IT HAPPENS and celebrating it. The practice is simply so evil that people become blind to it; they cannot believe it happens, so in their mind, it doesn't. They even vote for politicians who argue for it, thinking that it is a metaphor or something.

The alphabet ideologists are freaking out as medical institutions that have been aggressively promoting youth gender medicine are pulling back, either admitting that it is a bad idea unsupported by the evidence, or pointing to the possibility of losing federal funding if they keep sterilizing and mutilating kids.

So it's not difficult to show people that things they cannot believe are happening are, in fact, happening. Nor is it difficult to show them that their preferred politicians are pushing precisely what they know to be evil.

They simply refuse to believe it. Go ahead, talk to 10 liberals about these practices, and most will outright deny it, while a few will at least try to explain to you that it is so rare as to be no big deal. The most progressive will embrace it as a good thing, but for the most part the liberals I know just shrug and say you are exaggerating, and it never happens.

This is a pattern you see on many issues. Illegal aliens voting, voter fraud, and the fact that Pravda is pushing out a steady stream of hoaxes. There is tons of evidence for all of this, and it is impossible to deny based on facts. Yet many liberals truly believe that these things don't happen because no decent person would allow it.

So they keep voting for Democrats, often not because they agree on the issues—on many of them, like Voter ID and alphabet ideology, the majority of them don't—but because they like and trust their "leaders" and just assume they can't be as evil as we show them to be.

Cognitive dissonance is a powerful thing.

Editor's note: If we thought our job in pushing back against the Academia/media/Democrat censorship complex was over with the election, think again. This is going to be a long fight.
